Six November concerts under $20

For the Roots Rock and Roll Supporter

The Fort Worth band Thieving Birds will take the stage at Cheatham Street Warehouse Nov. 13 at 9 p.m. Tickets to the 18-and-over event are $6 in advance, $8 at the door and can be purchased on the venue’s website.

 

For the Texas Country Fan

The Josh Abbott Band will perform live Nov. 14 at The Marc. According to the band’s official website, the group recently released a new studio album Nov. 6, titled Front Row Seat. Tickets to the event, which starts at 9 p.m., are $17 and can be purchased though Loop 1 Tickets.

 

For the Outlaw Country Admirer

Country music group Crooks will play at Cheatham Street Warehouse Nov. 14 at 9 p.m. The band is touring to promote their new album, Wildfire, which was released in July. Tickets to the 18-and-over event are $8 and can be purchased on the venue’s website.

 

For the Country Enthusiast

San Marcos residents and students are encouraged to come out to The Marc Nov. 16 for the live audience for a taping of performances by Stoney LaRue and Sam Riggs. The first 100 people to arrive at the event will receive a free Texas Music Scene T-shirt, according to Tour San Marcos. The event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6 p.m.

 

For the Hip-Hop Devotee

ILoveMakonnen will perform at The Marc Nov. 19 at 9 p.m. Tickets to the event are $12 for attendees over 21 and $17 for those over 18. No one under 18 will be allowed in. Tickets can be purchased on The Marc’s website.

 

For the Americana Aficionado

Twenty-two-year-old Parker McCollum will perform at Cheatham Street Warehouse Nov. 21 at 8 p.m. Tickets to see the Austin local, who released The Limestone Kid earlier this year, are $8 for attendees over 21, $11 for those over 18 and can be purchased on the venue’s website.
